He said he agrees with the <br /> idea of making sure the architect is on the plaque, and a second plaque could be added later <br /> for the town. <br /> Commissioner Gordon said she could find no plaque at the Aquatics Center, and that <br /> was a partnership between Chapel Hill and Orange County. She suggested looking into this. <br /> Chair Jacobs said it would be nice if the towns want to participate, but Orange County <br /> decided to move forward with this project no matter what. He noted that Chapel Hill had <br /> waived some fees and made some adjustments in its development process to accommodate <br /> expediting the construction of the community center.
