She suggested looking into this. <br /> Chair Jacobs said it would be nice if the towns want to participate, but Orange County <br /> decided to move forward with this project no matter what. He noted that Chapel Hill had <br /> waived some fees and made some adjustments in its development process to accommodate <br /> expediting the construction of the community center. He said it would be good to have a <br /> conversation about this with the town managers and mayors. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Gordon to <br /> approve and authorize the Chair to sign a resolution on behalf of the Board for the official <br /> name of the facility to be the "Rogers Road Community Center" consistent with the County <br /> Property Naming Policy. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 7.
