Nationally, the for - profit and <br />nonprofit arts and culture sectors combined <br />— movies, painting, publishing, cable and <br />more — are worth at least half a trillion <br />dollars (3 percent of the gross domestic <br />product in 2011). <br />• Through on -going advertising via our free <br />arts, culture and entertainment online <br />calendar — ExploreChape1Hi11ARTS.com. <br />Artists, schools and organizations can post <br />and showcase their events and artist <br />portfolios free of charge. The affordable <br />online arts calendar created by the <br />EverWondr Network is in use by multiple <br />arts councils across this state, HandMade <br />in America, the N.C. Dept. of Cultural <br />Resources, and the N.C. Arts Council. <br />• The Chapel Hill /Orange County Visitors <br />Bureau introduced a new marketing <br />campaign focused on attracting mid -week <br />business, themed "The Edge of the <br />Triangle ". The campaign has reached 26 <br />million people in target markets on the <br />
