The petitions and responses are listed below: <br />1) Review and consider a request by a public resident to help establish a child advocacy center and the <br />establishment of a Multi- Disciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator position in partnership with Chatham <br />County to meet the needs of traumatized children all in one location. <br />Response: Manager to discuss with Orange County DSS Director and Chatham County Manager to <br />determine level of need; will report back to BOCC in FY 2015 -16 Budget process. <br />2) Review and consider a request by an Orange County resident that the Board provide <br />direction /relief regarding the use of pavers to meet pervious /impervious requirements. <br />Response: Manager to follow -up with Planning & Inspections Director. <br />3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that staff provide a plan to the Board <br />for art in public spaces. <br />Response: Manager to consult with Arts Commission. <br />4) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Pelissier that the Manager work with the <br />Towns to develop an organizational model to guide the development of a comprehensive <br />affordable housing plan for Orange County. <br />Response: Manager has conferred with new Housing Director; County to take lead to <br />coordinate and develop plan. <br />5) Review and consider a request to bring information regarding County contracts and <br />incorporation of living wage provisions. <br />Response: Scheduled for February 10, 2015 Work Session. <br />Regards, <br />�� TY � ]Le-u <br />Earl McKee, Chair <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />
