R <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />Department of Environment, <br />Agriculture, Paths & Recreation <br />December 23, 2014 <br />Donna Baker <br />Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners <br />200 South Cameron Street <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Dear Donna: <br />The Commission for the Environment has one vacancy (Position #6), created by the <br />recent resignation of Cliff Leath from the board. <br />The CFE Membership Committee (Chair & Vice - Chair) has reviewed the current list of <br />applicants and recommends the appointment of Thomas Eisenhart. Mr. Eisenhart is <br />a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina <br />at Chapel Hill, but his educational background includes studies in the both the <br />technical and social science aspects of sustainability. He also possesses a strong <br />interest in environmental protection.
