While I have little talent for visual arts myself, I do greatly appreciate and support <br />it s value and contributions to, as Barry Jacobs notes, what makes Orange County special. The <br />fact that my daughter received a full scholarship for Art School at VCU may suggest the same <br />even in my own home. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I would like to be more involved in my community and recognizing my passion for the arts, and <br />the musical arts in particular, and even technical skills with respect to staging and several years <br />of project management, after seeing the vacancies on the Arts Commission and the fact that <br />regular meetings would fit easily with my work schedule, I was compelled to apply! <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />Supplemental Questions: <br />Other Comments: <br />
