While I was in London I was first an Associate <br />Director of a theatre in the East End and for five years the director of a 500 seat venue in the <br />center of London. <br />I was also a member of the Dance Panel and the Drama Panel of the Greater London Arts <br />Association, the regional arts funding body. I was the founding director of an International <br />Festival of Theatre -in- Education. I was an executive committee member of the National <br />Association of Drama Advisors. I taught professional actors at the Equity Actor s Centre in <br />London. <br />After moving to Los Angeles I worked in the film industry as a Development Executive and then <br />as a freelance screenwriter. I also directed theatre on a freelance basis. <br />Since moving to Chapel Hill I have worked at the ArtsCenter in Carrboro both as a paid artist <br />and a volunteer. Currently I have a play in production which is paid work and I am the director of <br />their Variety Night season which I am taking no pay for. <br />I have also performed with Little Green Pig Theatrical concern. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />
