Year-To-Date Budget <br />Summary <br />PURPOSE: <br />To approve budgetordinance amendmentsfor fiscalyear 2014-15. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Health Department <br />1.The Health Departmenthas received revenuenotification for the following programs: <br />TANF Out-of-Wedlock Birth Prevention funds <br />– The Health Department <br />received notification of additional revenues of $3,947in additional state funding. <br />The additional funding will be used to help reduce the occurrence of unintended <br />pregnancies and out of wedlock births. <br />Smiles for Kids funds <br /> – The Health Department received notification of receipt of <br />a 2014 Delta Dental Foundation(DDF) Smiles for Kids grant award, with additional <br />revenues of $4,000. The funds received are a grant from the Delta Dental <br />Foundation for the 2014 Delta Dental Foundation Smiles for Kids Grant Award. <br />The funding will be used for community outreach projects. <br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See <br />Attachment 1, column 1) <br />Department of Environment, Agriculture, and Parks and Recreation <br />2.Based on current year and prior fiscal year concession collections, the Department of <br />Environment, Agriculture, and Parks and Recreation (DEAPR)anticipates receiving <br />additional revenue of $15,700 in concession revenue by the end of this fiscal year. <br />Funds will be used for seasonal personnel and concession supply needs.
