Triangle Transit Special Tax Board — Appointments <br />The Board considered making 2 appointments to the Triangle Transit Special Tax Board. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Pelissier to <br />nominate Commissioner Price to position #1 and Commissioner Jacobs to position #2 on the <br />Triangle Transit Special Tax Board. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />12. <br />Board Comments <br />Commissioner Pelissier wanted to let everyone know that Triangle Transit Executive <br />Director David King has submitted his resignation and the recruitment process for a new <br />Executive Director has begun. <br />Commissioner Dorosin said he was at a meeting recently with residents who live in <br />mobile home parks in Orange County. He heard some distressing reports about their living <br />situations. He said he will be coming forward with some suggestions, and he thinks there are <br />some real opportunities to engage on these issues. <br />Commissioner Jacobs said the Board needs to remember that there are also <br />manufactured communities within the municipalities that are under financial stress and in need <br />of attention. <br />Chair McKee said he appreciated the opportunity to sit in the middle chair, and he will do <br />his best to represent the Board and the County. <br />34 13.
