19 <br />1 Chair Jacobs said the award the County just won was named after Marvin Collins, a <br />2 Mebane native and former Orange County planning director. <br />3 Chair Jacobs said the ribbon cutting for the Rogers Road Community Center will be held <br />4 on November 15th at 9 a.m. <br />5 Chair Jacobs said he wanted to congratulate their state representatives, newly elected <br />6 and re- elected in the last election. He expressed pleasure at the changes in the Wake County <br />7 Board of Commissioners to become part of the Triangle again. <br />8 Chair Jacobs said he was at the Sportsplex recently, and he noted that some signs say <br />9 "Orange County Sportsplex", and some say "Triangle Sportsplex." <br />10 Clarence Grier said the center has been named the Orange County Sportsplex, but this <br />11 has not been changed everywhere.
