Department of <br /> Commerce to release Federal funds under Title I of the Housing and Community <br /> Development Act of 1974 (PL 93-383)for the following project: <br /> PROJECT TITLE <br /> Orange County Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation Program <br /> PURPOSE/NATURE OF PROJECT <br /> Housing Rehabilitation of seventeen (17) substandard houses in Orange County <br /> occupied and/or owned by persons at or below 60% of median income. <br /> Total Project Cost = $396,870; Total CDBG Cost = $378,495; CDBG/Total Cost% = 95% <br /> LOCATION OF THE PROJECT <br /> Orange County, North Carolina <br /> CENSUS TRACT <br /> All Census Tracts in Orange County. <br /> An Environmental Review Record applicable to the above project has been made by <br /> Orange County which documents the environmental review of the project. This <br /> Environmental Review Record is on file at the above address and is available for public <br /> examination and copying, upon request and payment of any authorized copying charges. <br /> Orange County will undertake the project described above with Community Development <br /> Block Grant funds from the North Carolina Division of Community Assistance under Title I <br /> of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. Orange County is certifying to <br /> DCA that Moses Carey, Jr., in his official capacity as Chair of the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners consent to accept the jurisdiction of the Federal courts if an action is <br /> brought to enforce responsibilities in relation to environmental reviews, decision-making <br /> and action; and that these responsibilities have been satisfied.
