SOLID WASTE FINANCING OPTIONS <br /> RURAL ROADSIDE COLLECTION <br /> The following info oration is an analysis of variable rate financing for rural solid waste collection <br /> and disposal in System 1 of Weston's study of an integrated solid waste management plan for <br /> Orange County. The costs used in the analysis are based on information from Weston's Working <br /> Paper#3. Much of the information in Weston's study is based on cost ranges and assumptions. This <br /> analysis is for comparative purposes; a more thorough exact analysis will be performed as <br /> implementation decisions are made. <br /> System 1 Collection (assumes curbside collection of residential household waste from 17,000 rural <br /> households. All current Solid Waste Convenience Centers are closed except for two Special Waste <br /> Convenience Centers.
