A membership dues structure <br /> to support the work of the Greater Triangle Regional Council should: <br /> • Be simple, <br /> • Be voluntary, <br /> • Encourage all members to contribute in similar amounts, and <br /> • Provide the minimum amount needed to support the basic operations of the council as it <br /> undertakes projects. Additional funds for significant projects will be raised separately from <br /> targetted funding sources. <br /> Based on these policy guidelines, the following voluntary dues structure was developed, <br /> recognizing that it may not be possible for some members to contribute funds each year. It will <br /> be left to the discretion of each member on the best way to contribute funds to undertake the <br /> work of the council. The fiscal year for the council runs from July 1 through June 30. <br /> Voluntary Annual Dues Structure <br /> Businesses = $1,00043,000 <br /> Counties & municipalities with 100,000+ population = $3,000 <br /> with between 25,000 and 100,000 population = $2,000 <br /> with less than 25,000 population = $1,000 <br /> Major universities = $3,000 <br /> Civic organizations, regional groups and foundations = $1,000 <br /> Other educational institutions = $1,000 <br /> g�� <br />
