The forest or other vegetation has been disturbed but shows evidence of recovery. <br /> Three sites were classified in the inventory as Fair. <br /> Threat Rating. Threat refers to an assessment of threats to a site which could affect the site's <br /> aesthetics or biological viability. The levels of threat identified in the inventory were as follows: <br /> • Extreme. The possibility exists for high impact development, clearcutting,flooding or dense <br /> residential development. A total of 11 sites were classified in the inventory as Extreme. <br /> • Strong. There is a possibility for low impact development, such as diffuse residential <br /> building. A total of 11 sites were classified as Strong. <br /> • Moderate. The possibility exists for point impact such as bridges, roads, sewerlines or <br /> powerlines. A total of 12 sites were classified as Moderate. <br /> • Slight The site is undeveloped but is managed as a multiple use tract and is not immune to <br /> future threats A total of 18 sites were classified as Slight. <br /> • Negligible: The site is presently managed as a natural area A total of 14 sites were <br /> classified as Negligible. <br /> In the following table, each of the 64 natural areas and wildlife habitats has been listed by the <br /> major drainage basin in which it is located. Descriptions of the significant features associated with <br /> each site, as well as the status of State-listed species of plants and animals, are presented in the <br /> Inventory of the Natural Areas and Wildlife Habitats of Orange County. The 64 sites are shown <br /> on the Natural Areas/Wildlife Habitats Map. <br />
