The network shall link <br /> all parts of the village proper, making walking easier than driving. <br /> + No block face shall have a length greater than 500 feet without an alley providing <br /> through access. <br /> • Streetlamps, between eight(8)and 15 feet in height, and equipped with incandescent <br /> or metal halide lights, shall be installed on both sides of streets at all street <br /> intersections and at mid-block where block lengths exceed 400 feet. <br /> • On-street parking directly fronting a lot shall count toward fulfilling the parking <br /> requirement. <br /> • The number of required off-street parking spaces may be reduced by demonstrating <br /> the availability of shared parking. <br /> • Parking lots shall be located at the rear or at the side of buildings. Go with Duany or forget it? Why not add rural <br /> village for some mixed use like discussed for Hannah Creek? Without sewer, can't do this. It's not <br /> appropriate for 30,00040,000 sq.ft.lots.Why not allow clerestory windows?Why the standard for fence/wall <br /> height? Cars aren't 8 feet high. Why deal with gates?
