62 <br /> INFRASTRUCTURE NOTES <br /> Overall Goals <br /> 1. Adequate infrastructure should be available to all non-residential development areas. <br /> 2. All infrastructure planning should be county-wide and should be coordinated with other <br /> counties in the region. <br /> 3. Infrastructure provision should be done in a manner that insures services are competitive <br /> and economical. <br /> Water and Sewer <br /> 1. A water and sewer plan should be developed to extend services to the economic <br /> development districts. , <br /> 2. Quality of our watersheds should be maintained through land use planning. <br /> 3. The assimilative capacity of receiving water should be studied to ensure adequate sewer <br /> capacity. <br /> 4. A program of"gray water" re-use should be developed to increase capacity. <br /> 5. Service area boundary planning and current recommendation should be supported. <br /> 6. A system of inter-connections between all water suppliers should be completed. <br /> 7. The Utility Extension Fund should be supported by re-investment of repayments from <br /> current projects and should be increased to $1 million. <br /> Telephone System Goals <br /> 1. All companies should be encouraged to keep up with technology. <br /> 2. Region-wide extended area calling is the goal. <br /> Road Goals <br /> 1. A by-pass around Ifillsborough is a high priority. <br /> 2. TIP should include planned expansion of support roads to economic development <br /> districts. <br />
