The percent of persons employed in <br /> government is expected to decline slightlyxduring the next twenty years while the trade and service <br /> sectors will experience slight but steady increases in their'percent of the employment force, The <br /> percent of persons employed in manufacturing will remain about the same. The distribution of these <br /> four major sectors of the region's employment is depicted graphically in Figure 2, showing projections <br /> for 1990. <br />
