9 <br /> Recommendation: The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> 1. Adopt Attachment 1, Option B which provides for: <br /> a. Changing the Blue Cross Traditional Plan to a Blue Cross <br /> Preferred Provider Plan covering hospitals and physicians <br /> b. Renewing the two Blue Cross Plans (Preferred Provider and <br /> Personal Care Plan)through the NCACC Health Insurance Trust, <br /> contingent on negotiation of a satisfactory Interlocal Agreement <br /> with the Trust. <br /> C. Continuing the HealthSource plan. <br /> d. Establishing the health insurance dependent subsidy at 42 percent. <br /> e. Continuing the health insurance waiver option. <br /> 2. Authorize staff and the County Attorney to work with the NCACC Trust <br /> to negotiate the provisions of the Interlocal Agreement with the Trust, <br /> with the resulting Agreement to be presented to the Board of <br /> Commissioners for consideration at the Board Worksession scheduled for <br /> October 12. <br />
