4 <br /> Enclosed is a summary of problems that have been identified by health department staff, based upon <br /> an analysis of available data, which illustrates the kinds of health conditions the task force will be <br /> asked to address. Finally, you will find a description of the role of the task force as outlined by the <br /> Governor's Task Force on Health Objectives for the Year 2000, a model which is underway in <br /> approximately twenty other counties in North Carolina. <br /> Please give serious consideration to serving, personally, on this task force.
