Contract for Dept. of OB/GYN TELEPHONE NUMBER: <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: <br /> To approve a professional service contract between the Orange County <br /> Health Department and the UNC School of Medicine to provide an OB/GYN <br /> consultant for the Maternal Health Clinic. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This contract has been in existence for many years. This arrangement <br /> provides a cost-effective means of assuring that the health services <br /> in the prenatal clinic are provided in a high quality, professional <br /> manner which is well coordinated with the OB/GYN clinics at UNC <br /> Hospitals where our patients deliver. <br /> The terms, duties and dollar amounts of the contract remains <br /> unchanged. Funds necessary for this contact are included in the <br /> approved budget for FY95-96. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends that the contracts be <br /> approved and that the Chair be authorized to <br /> sign the contract <br />
