2 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY O.P.T. PROGRAM <br /> DRIVER ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement entered into this 2nd day of October, 1995, by and between the <br /> County of Orange on behalf of the Orange Public Transportation Program(O.P.T.), <br /> hereinafter referred to as the County, and Orange County Middle School Afterschool <br /> Program, hereinafter referred to as Orange County Schools. <br /> The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the conditions under which the County <br /> and Orange County Schools will cooperatively provide human service transportation <br /> through the O.P.T. system. <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 1. To provide a certified CDL driver for the following route(s) as described: <br /> three (3) routes transporting Afterschool Program participants home from A.L. <br /> Stanback and Stanford Middle Schools each Monday through Thursday for the <br /> balance of the school year. <br /> 2. To provide a back-up driver in case the regular driver is not available. <br /> 3. To employ an O.P.T. Transportation Supervisor to handle any problems and to <br /> ensure there is a driver available. <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOLS <br /> 1. To reimburse Orange County at the rate of$16.50 per hour for eveningl driver <br /> time which includes administrative personnel. <br /> 2. In the event the agency requires specialized training beyond the driver's <br /> current level, it shall be their responsibility to: <br /> a) Indicate the type and level of training; <br /> b) Provide the prescribed training without cost to the County. <br /> 3. To provide the Transportation Supervisor written notification of any <br /> transportation problems or unsatisfactory driver's performance in order to <br /> take corrective action. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
