6 <br /> 2 <br /> locations in Greensboro or Research Triangle Park. <br /> The proposed agreement provides for 21 training sessions with 12 <br /> participants per session for a total of 252 training opportunities for County <br /> employees. Each session is one day in length. The training will be <br /> scheduled at various times during this fiscal year beginning this fall. <br /> In addition to the on-site training, New Horizons will provide 11 training <br /> coupons for free participation in training classes held at its Raleigh <br /> location. The total estimated cost for the planned on-site computer <br /> training is $15,000. Including the value of the training coupons, New <br /> Horizons will provide training for Orange County employees at an <br /> estimated per participation cost of$57.03. The funds for computer <br /> training are included in the 1995-96 budget. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends the Board authorize the Board Chair to sign the <br /> Agreement for Employee Computer Training with New Horizons <br /> Computer Learning Center. <br />
