He is based in our Charlotte office. His core team has worked together <br /> for 20 years and is recognized throughout the industry for their expertise in the <br /> public entity sector. <br /> Prior to joining Willis in 2004, Mark was the Managing Director for Aon's Public <br /> Entity Division. In that position, he was responsible for setting the national <br /> strategy for the sales, underwriting and servicing of accounts handled by his <br /> division. Previously at Aon, he served as Senior Vice President & Director, <br /> Construction Services Group. <br /> Before his tenure with Aon, Mark held a number of management positions at <br /> Aetna Life & Casualty, including: Industry Affairs Manager (lobbyist), Senior <br /> Account Executive; National Accounts Director; Regional Supervisor; and Unit <br /> Supervisor. <br /> Mark has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. As a broker, his <br /> experience encompasses such disciplines as management, account servicing, <br /> underwriting and marketing of loss responsive insurance programs, political and <br /> regulatory issues and claims management. <br /> CREDENTIALS <br /> Graduate of J',ames Madison University— B.S Degree with Majors in Management <br /> and Marketing and a minor in economics <br /> Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) <br /> Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) <br /> Four time recipient of Risk & Insurance magazine's "Power Broker" award <br /> Past recipient of the IIAV's "Insurance Company Person of the "fear" award <br />
