She graduated from North Carolina Central University <br /> 0 <br /> with a Bachelor of Arts in English.The press released her first volume of <br /> N <br /> 7"I <br /> poetry, the lapis dwellers, in August 2005, which was voted Independent <br /> Weekly's Best Poetry Book.
