From there, she moved to Chatham,Virginia where as Director of Dance she taught ballet, <br /> contemporary, improvisation, and choreography in addition to choreographing and producing shows, living <br /> on campus, and immersing herself in the boarding school life. Brittany began her training with Nan Klinger <br /> through the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet and has danced at Chautauqua Institution,Pacific Northwest <br /> Ballet,Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Joe Goode Performance Group, CityDance, and many others. She is <br /> thrilled to be working with the wonderful students at TYB! <br /> Hannah Widener,Assistant to Children's Curriculum Director and Production Stage Manager <br /> Hannah received her BFA in dance with a minor in English from UNC-Greensboro in 1994. She has <br /> performed in modern dance companies: Dansync,A Performing Arts Ensemble, and North/South Dance of <br /> NYC. Her teaching experiences include teaching children's classes in ballet,jazz,tap, creative movement, <br /> and modern dance. She has also taught ballroom dance to adults. <br /> Alexandra Weber,Facilitates our partnership with the The Carrboro ArtsCenter Alexandra began her <br /> dance training in San Antonio, Texas at Earle Cobb Dance Studio and has traveled to many studios to expand <br /> her experience. She has worked with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and performed at the Spurs half time <br /> show. She brings her background of technique together with drill team experiences to create a unique <br /> choreography. Full of energy and with a love of working with children we are excited for her to join our <br /> team. Allie begins this fall directing our new program with the Carrboro ArtsCenter. There she will be <br /> adding our young dancer's curriculum to the Saturday morning schedule at the ArtsCenter. <br /> Alice Yu, Stage One Faculty and Guest Artist Alice started traditional Chinese dance at age three with her <br /> mother and switched to classical ballet at age eleven with the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet.Alice moved to <br /> Chapel Hill in 2009 and is now an alum of the Triangle Youth Ballet Performing Company. She has <br /> performed lead roles in The Nutcracker and Giselle. She is the awardee of the 2013 TYB Suzi Wagner <br /> Award.
