In February, The Bright Star Touring Theater would perform Aesop's <br />Fables for a pre -K -2 group, and Heroes of the Underground Railroad for the 3 -5 group. <br />Well known for their engaging style and ability to bring transformative stories to life, <br />these productions would make significant character connections and accentuate the <br />African- American experience during Black History month. In March, Hobey Ford's <br />Golden Rod Puppets would introduce the older grades to "Migrations" --a show that <br />focuses on the migrations of animals across the globe and the necessity of movement in <br />the natural world. The tale is told through the voice of a young Mexican girl, linking the <br />natural story to the narrative of human migrations. The younger children would see <br />14obey Ford's breathtaking puppets in "Animalia " —a visual portrayal of the <br />metamorphosis of animals, from tadpoles to frogs, caterpillar to butterfly. <br />
