This year, Bright Star will be presenting two different performances. <br />Aesop's Fables will be performed for the younger Kindergarten through 2nd grade students. <br />These 2600 year -old gems have never been this entertaining! Students will enjoy Elizabethan <br />actors as they stumble across the assembled crowd and decide to put on a showcase of their <br />greatest hits. The result is a fast - paced, high- energy production that has literally left audiences <br />shouting for more. Animal- filled adventures including "The Fox and the Grapes ", "The Tortoise <br />and the Hare ", "The Boy who Cried Wolf' and "The Lion and the Mouse" focus on honesty, <br />compassion, hard work and kindness. <br />Let it Shine: The American Civil Rights Movement will performed for 3`d through 5d' grades. This <br />powerful show brings to the stage pivotal moments of the American struggle for Civil Rights. <br />The Freedom Riders, "Bombingham" and the Montgomery bus boycott are just a few of the key <br />events that unfold before your audience.
