You should contact the universities in your <br /> area or your system administrator for more information. <br /> Publications <br /> As a subscriber to ARC/INFO Support Services,you are automatically placed on our mailing list to receive complimentary <br /> publications. These publications provide you with up-to-date information about our software and what is happening <br /> throughout the GIS world. <br /> ARC News ,a quarterly newsletter,is our way of sharing GIS news from ESRI and from our users around the world. Each <br /> issue contains information about our current activities, new software developments,news from ARCANFO user groups, <br /> descriptions of many user projects using ARC/INFO software, and much more. <br /> User Conference <br /> Each year,ESRI hosts a user conference to which all of our support subscribers are invited. This conference is a unique <br /> week-long information exchange between the ARCANFO user community and ESRI staff. You can meet with other users to <br /> share experiences and knowledge. You can also attend your choice of many user presentations and technical sessions on <br /> how to use ARCANFO software. The conference provides an opportunity to meet face-to-face with the ESRI staff to ask <br /> questions and offer suggestions on how we can better serve your site's needs. <br /> One complimentary registration is provided for each primary support floating license and two complimentary registrations <br /> are provided for each primary support node-locked 3-Pak. <br /> User Groups <br /> ARC/INFO user groups,including both Regional User Groups and Special Interest Groups,form a vital part of the <br /> ARCANFO experience by helping users become an integral part of the larger community of ARCANFO users. <br /> Regional User Groups: <br /> Regional User Groups offer ARC/INFO users the opportunity to meet with other users in their region. They are <br /> established and managed by the users in their region. These groups typically organize their own activities, hold <br /> regular meetings, sponsor separate regional user conferences, and sponsor meetings at ESRI's annual user conference. <br /> Special Interest Groups: <br /> Special Interest Groups offer ARC/INFO users the opportunity to meet and correspond with users sharing a common <br /> interest. They are organized by users sharing interest in a speck application area. These groups organize their own <br /> activities and sponsor special interest meetings at ESRI's annual user conference. They may also hold independent <br /> meetings at other times. <br /> For information regarding user groups in your region,or in your area of interest,please contact ESRI's User Group <br /> Coordinator at (909) 793-2853, ext. 1375. <br /> Preparing for Support <br /> When you call ESRI for technical support,you should be at your computer and have the appropriate product documentation <br /> on hand.
