a <br /> Existing <br /> flood. <br /> 4.4 WATER SUPPLY AND SANITARY SEWER SYSTEMS IN FLO DWAY AND <br /> FLOODWAY FRINGE <br /> Whenever any portion of a proposed development is located within a floodway or <br /> floodway fringe the agency or agencies responsible for certifying to the County the <br /> adequacy of the water supply and sewage disposal systems for the development shall be <br /> informed by the developer that a specified area within the development lies within a <br /> floodway or floodway fringe. Thereafter, approval of the proposed system by that <br /> agency shall constitute a certification that: <br /> (a) such water supply system is designed to minimize or eliminate infiltration of flood <br /> waters into it; <br /> (b) such sanitary sewer system is designed to eliminate infiltration of flood waters <br /> into it and discharges from it into flood waters; <br /> (c) any on-site sewage disposal system is located to avoid impairment to it or <br /> contamination from it during flooding. <br /> 4.5 MANUFACTURED HOMES <br /> (AMENDED 2-19-91) <br /> a. Manufactured homes that are placed or substantially improved within Zones <br /> Al-A30, AH, and AE on sites (a) outside a manufactured home park or <br /> subdivision; (b) in a new manufactured home park or subdivision; (c) in an <br /> expansion to an existing manufactured home park or subdivision; or, (d) in an <br /> existing manufactured home park or subdivision on which a manufactured home <br /> has incurred "substantial damage" as the result of a flood, must be elevated on <br /> a permanent foundation such that the lowest floor of the manufactured home is <br /> elevated to or above the base flood elevation and be securely anchored to an <br /> adequately anchored foundation system to resist flotation, collapse, and lateral <br /> movement. <br /> b. Manufactured homes that are placed or substantially improved on sites in an <br /> existing manufactured home park or subdivision within Zones Al-A30, AH, and <br /> AE that are not subject to the provisions of Article 5, Section B(3a) of this <br /> ordinance must be elevated so that either (i) the lowest floor of the manufactured <br /> home is elevated to or above the base flood elevation, or (ii) the manufactured <br /> home chassis is supported by reinforced piers or other foundation elements of at <br /> least equivalent strength that are no less than 36 inches in height above grade and <br /> be securely anchored to an adequately anchored foundation to resist flotation, <br /> collapse, and lateral movement. <br /> C. An evacuation plan must be developed for evacuation of all residents of a <br /> manufactured home park or subdivisions located within flood prone areas and <br />
