Price asked if adjoining properties <br /> could also apply for such a rezoning and the <br /> answer was, "yes" . <br /> Rosemond asked if the entire tract is to be <br /> changed to AS. Hinkley responded that only a <br /> portion of the lot has been requested for <br /> rezoning (2.75 acres) . The remaining portion <br /> would retain the original AR zoning. <br /> Mr. Rives stated that the rezoning would help <br /> maintain good customer relations. It would <br /> enable him to sell all the landscaping products <br /> from his property rather than just using them <br /> when providing a landscape service. He noted <br /> too, that he already applies chemicals. He is a <br /> licensed chemical applicator and very much <br /> concerned with chemicals applied on his property <br /> as well as on others. <br /> Reid asked which watershed the property is <br /> located in and the designation. The response was <br /> Haw River and the designation WS-IV. <br /> Howie asked if the pond is a self-contained pond <br /> and the response was, "yes" . <br /> MOTION: Reid moved approval as recommended by the <br /> Planning Staff. Seconded by Allison. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Findings of Fact (attachment to these minutes) <br /> motions and votes as follows: <br /> MOTION: Reid moved findings in the affirmative for <br /> Article 20.3.2 a & b. Seconded by Howie. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> MOTION: Katz moved findings in the affirmative for <br /> Article 20.3.2e. Seconded by Rosemond. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> MOTION: Reid moved findings in the affirmative for <br /> Article 4.2 a & 4.2 b 1,2,3. Seconded by Allison. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br />
