United Way of Greater Orange County will: <br /> 1) provide all staffing for the information and referral service(s)which includes funding of <br /> any additional staff, with salaries and benefits, as deemed necessary by United Way. <br /> 2) provide matching funds for the implementation and annual operating budget for the I&R <br /> service. <br /> 3) submit routine progress reports to an Advisory Council\Board on a monthly basis. The <br /> Board will consist of various representatives to include; the County, private, non-profits, <br /> and the towns- Chapel Hill and Carrboro. <br /> 4) provide office space and office equipment for I&R staff and space for a central location <br /> for I&R services. <br /> 5) develop ongoing training for public and private, non-profit staff for use of the I&R <br /> system. <br /> 6) provide maintenance and necessary upgrades for computer equipment and software. <br /> 7) document all expenditures for the I&R services and submit annual, or as requested, <br /> detailed accounting reports for grant monies received from Smart Start and funds <br /> received from Orange County. <br /> 8) conduct periodic evaluations of the I&R service(s)which includes; statistical data and <br /> community needs assessments. <br /> 9) perform all necessary promotion, public relations, advertising, and marketing to increase <br /> and maintain public awareness for I&R services. <br /> 10) work with public and private,non-profits to identify gaps in service delivery and assist in <br /> redirecting efforts to improve service delivery. <br /> Timeline <br /> This agreement becomes valid upon signature by both parties.
