Potential Uses of Land Transfer Tax Proceeds The Board «~ill consider options for the use of proceeds from a .4% land transfer tax, if approved by voters on the May 6, 2448 ballot, and subsequently implemented by the Orange County Board of Commissioners. b. Local Revenue Options Education Effort The Board ~~~ill discuss alternative approaches, and prospective budgets fro those alternatives, regarding the County's planned effort to educate voters about the purposes for and implications of the land transfer tax measure that the Orange County Commissioners have placed on the IL1ay 6, 2048 ballot. c. DSS/Health Department Space Options The Board will consider approving an option to address long-term space needs in Central/Northern Orange County for the Department of Social Services (DSS) and Health Department. 7.
