TROSA Contract <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBER - <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> PURPOSE: To enter into contractual arrangements with Orange- <br /> Chatham Alternative Sentencing and Triangle Residential Options <br /> for Substance Abusers (TROSA) for services outlined by the <br /> Orange-Chatham Criminal Justice Partnership Program Advisory <br /> Board. <br /> BACKGROUND: At the May 16, 1995 BOCC meeting, the Board approved <br /> the acceptance of grant monies from the NC Department of <br /> Correction Criminal Justice Partnership Program for the <br /> implementation of program services. The grant award of $45,486 <br /> will be used to contract for substance abuse services and the <br /> development of a pre-trial release program. <br /> The substance abuse services contract with TROSA will provide <br /> residential substance abuse treatment services for approximately <br /> eight Orange/Chatham County residents. The contract with Orange- <br /> Chatham Alternative Sentencing will provide for the development <br /> and implementation of a pre-trial release program for both <br /> counties. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends that the Board approve <br /> the contracts for pre-trail release and substance abuse services <br /> for the Criminal Justice Partnership Program. <br />
