This facility would employ about 100, invest at least $5,000,000, and serve <br /> both the Research Triangle area and the Piedmont Triad area. Significant milestones in the <br /> process are as follows: <br /> March 1995 site consultant reviews available buildings <br /> makes offer on Greenwich Miffs/Chock Full o'Nuts bldg <br /> April 1995 offer denied(Armstrong offer accepted) <br /> review land options in area <br /> May 1995 obtain option on 21.5 acres on East Washington Street <br /> apply for NCDOT Rail Industrial Access Funds <br /> June 1995 NCDOT Funds approved for 50% rail spur funding <br /> Continued . . . <br />
