23 <br />Page 3 of 3 Libbie Hough <br />Other Comments: <br />In addition to the other activities mentioned above, I am also a: Member, Chapel Hill <br />Chamber of Commerce; Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce; Association for Corporate <br />Growth - Raleigh Durham Chapter Member, Bull City Forward, a co- working incubator <br />setting for social entrepreneurs. Co- organized a breakfast focused on entrepreneurship <br />for the Hillsborough Chamber and Orange County Schools, March 2011. I am passionate <br />about pushing forward Orange County's economic development efforts. I see this as a <br />social justice issue in that we're creating jobs for those who live here or want to live here. I <br />also see economic development as critical to nurture if we want to continue offering the <br />quality of life we already have while also expanding efforts in other areas -- social <br />services, recreational opportunities for residents.
