He said thebolded items on the above <br />32 <br />timeline represent decision points for Board action.He reminded the Board thatlibrary <br />33 <br />programming and space planning will not begin until after contract negotiations have been <br />34 <br />completed. <br />35 <br />Chair Jacobs asked him to explain theeaselillustrations. <br />36 <br />Jeff Thompsonreviewed the illustration of properties that the Board of County <br />37 <br />Commissioners considered. He said all of these have been deferred except for the Butler <br />38 <br />property. He reviewed an aerial photo of the proposed Butler property. <br />39 <br />Commissioner Pricereferred to page 3, section cand asked where the County would be <br />40 <br />left if Main Street did not complete their part of the project. <br />41 <br />John Roberts said this statement protects the County if Main Street developers were to <br />42 <br />go bankrupt. <br />43 <br />Commissioner Price said the Countyhasa ground leasethat goes away once the <br />44 <br />property is complete. She asked who would own the property, and whether the ownerneeds to <br />45 <br />be included inthe document. <br />46 <br />John Roberts said no. Hesaid Main Street has anoption on this property. <br />47 <br />Jeff Thompson said the option owner is one of the partners within the Main Street <br />48 <br />partnership, and the ground lease contract agreements will contemplate the County having an <br />49 <br />option on that property. <br /> <br />
