During my five and a half years there, I worked with the cancer, <br />heart disease /stroke, diabetes, physical activity & nutrition, injury & violence prevention, tobacco <br />prevention and control, and asthma branches. My work was to promote education and <br />outreach, and intervention programs (including those for the older population), especially for <br />adults with chronic lower respiratory diseases and their associated conditions (e.g., heart <br />disease, diabetes, arthritis, depression, etc.). <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />
