My <br />understanding is, it requires legislative approval for ordinances that have certain <br />requirements. We should do as many things possible to support environmentally <br />responsible development, such as creating solar easements for future renewable power <br />use, smarter energy efficiency improvements in new construction, Smart Grid <br />development, or work on ways to propose changes in the legislature to better protect our <br />environment on local levels.
