MA <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER EXTENDING THE <br />EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION (ETJ) BOUNDARY (2013- 09- 23/R - #) <br />WHEREAS, on June 24, 2013, the Council discussed the extension of the Extraterritorial <br />Jurisdiction (ETJ) boundary in the northwest portion of the Town's Joint Planning Area (JPA) to <br />enable the use of the Town's CDBG funding in this expanded area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the <br />Council calls a Public Hearing for October 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Southern Orange Human <br />Services Complex, 2501 Homestead Road, to consider extending the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction <br />(ETJ) boundary as shown on the attached map, Proposed Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Boundary, <br />dated July, 2013. <br />This the 23rd day of September, 2013 <br />
