The petitions and responses are listed below: <br />1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that the Board send a letter of thanks to Jeff <br />Thompson's wife for her volunteer efforts at the Rogers Road Community Center ribbon - cutting. <br />Response: The Manager to address this item with a personal note <br />2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that the County look into opportunities, <br />public /private partnerships, etc. and the efforts necessary to develop tiny house villages. <br />Response: This item to be folded into affordable housing discussion at the January 30, <br />2015 Board Retreat. <br />3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the County develop a primer for <br />the public on various planning related processes, approvals, etc. <br />Response: Manager to work with Planning staff to develop a primer. <br />4) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board receive an update on <br />the Environmental Assessment for the Proposed Hillsborough Train Station. <br />Response: Manager to work with Planning Director. <br />5) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board receive information <br />regarding an airplane landing strip in Efland as well as the process, if any, to establish an <br />airplane landing strip. <br />Response: Manager to consult with Planning staff and provide follow -up to the Board. <br />This letter will be provided as an Information Item on the December 1, 2014 agenda for public <br />information. <br />Best, <br />Barry Jacobs, Chair <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />
