EXHIBIT"A" <br /> Scope of Services—FY 2014- 15 <br /> Outside Agency Performance Agreement <br /> Agency Name: Chapel Hill-Carrboro Human Rights Center <br /> Program Name: English As Second Language(Esl)Program <br /> Funding Award: $1,000 <br /> Outline how the agency will spend Orange County's funding award. <br /> Expense Description Amount <br /> Stipend for the ESL Program Coordinator* $1,000 <br /> ESL Program Coordinator recruits,trains, supervises ESL program volunteers,develop <br /> curriculum, do general program outreach as well as related administrative tasks for the <br /> ESL Program for the full academic year <br /> Program Services <br /> For assistance with this or the following section, please reference the Exhibit A instructions and example, located within the <br /> contract and reporting memorandum. Outline the major activities the agency will employ to attain the Anticipated Outcomes <br /> below,by June 30,2015. <br /> • English as Second Language Program: Develop personalized lessons for ESL students of all <br /> levels(i.e. beginner, intermediate, advanced levels) and provide one-on-one tutor: student ratio to <br /> achieve maximum English language improvement for the participants <br /> • End of year ESL Program Celebration: Reflect, share and celebrate the success of the ESL <br /> participants with rest of the broader immigrant community <br /> Anticipated Outcomes <br /> The Anticipated Results column must include quantifiable results in the form of number of persons/units served within Orange <br /> County, only (all Towns and municipalities).
