Gordon, Earl McKee, Bernadette Pelissier, Renee Price Penny Rich <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br />COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Assistant County <br />Manager Clarence Grier, Cheryl Young and Clerk to the Board Donna Baker (All other staff <br />members will be identified appropriately below) <br />Chair Jacobs called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br />1. RENA and Cedar Grove Community Centers Update <br />Jeff Thompson introduced Grace Wallace. He walked through descriptions of a series <br />of photos of the Rogers Road Eubanks Neighborhood Association (RENA) Center and <br />reviewed the following points from the PowerPoint slides: <br />27 RENA Community Center <br />28 Final Paint, Carpentry Trim, Kitchen Installation remaining <br />29 Final Inspections Currently Underway <br />30 Occupancy Permit expected in October, 2014 <br />31 Staff working with RENA leadership on move -in topics <br />32 Ribbon Cutting ceremony scheduled for November 15, 2014 <br />33 <br />34 Commissioner Rich asked if there is a landscaping plan in place. <br />35 Jeff Thompson answered yes. <br />36 Jeff Thompson presented the following highlights regarding the Cedar Grove <br />37 Community Center: <br />38 <br />39 Update on the Cedar Grove Community Center <br />40 Construction Documents ( "CDs ") 90% complete <br />41 60% CD set stakeholder and regulatory review <br />42 Scheduled December bid advertisement <br />43 Scheduled BOCC bid award: January 2015 <br />44 Estimated construction completion: Fall 2015 <br />45 Highlights <br />46 Facility programming planning underway <br />47 PFAP storage <br />48 Park & Ride planning <br />49 <br />
