<br />2. Terms and Replacement of Members <br />Members of the Transportation Services Board shall serve three-year terms, <br />but no more than two consecutive three-year terms. <br />3. Vacancies <br />All vacancies on the Transportation Services Board shall be filled by <br />appointment by the County Board of Commissioners. The person appointed <br />shall serve for the unexpired portion of the term. <br />4. Attendance <br />Any member of the Board who misses more than three meetings in any twelve <br />month period shall lose his/her status as a member of the Board and shall be <br />replaced by the Orange County Board of Commissioners. Absences due to <br />siclmess or death of an immediate family member shall be considered <br />approved absences and shall not affect the member's status. Following the <br />second absence, the secretary will notify the member in writing of the <br />attendance policy. <br />5. Organization Representation <br />Representatives of the following four organizations shall be designated by the <br />Director or Executive Director of these organizations. These are non-voting <br />representatives who are not required to be residents of Orange County: <br />(1) Chapel Hill Transit <br />(2) Durham Technical Community College <br />(3) Employment Security Commission <br />(4) Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) <br />Article IV - Regular Meetings <br />1. Dates and Locations <br />Regular meetings of the Orange County Transportation Services Board will be held at <br />least quarterly according to a schedule decided at the first meeting of each year, to be <br />held in February. All meetings will be conducted with a maximum time limit of two <br />hours unless extended by a majority vote of those present. Location of meetings and <br />specific times will be established by the Transportation Services Board. <br />3
