69 <br />Article III - Composition <br />1. Number and Qualifications of Members <br />The Orange County Transportation Services Board is composed of seventeen voting <br />members. The members shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, with. <br />priority given to residents of Orange County. <br />(a) Ten members will be the Director or Executive Director or designee nominated by <br />the following agencies: <br />(1) Orange County Planning Department <br />(2) Economic Development Commission <br />(3) Emergency Medical Services <br />(4) O.P.C. Mental Health Center <br />(S) Orange County Department on Aging <br />(6) Orange County Department of Social Services <br />(7) Orange County Health Department <br />(8) Orange County Recreation and Parks Department <br />(9) Orange Enterprises <br />(10)Town of Hillsborough <br />(b)Five members, residents of Orange County, shall be chosen at large by the Orange <br />County Board of Commissioners with priority given to those in rural areas and/or <br />experience in the following fields: private transit operation, transportation, business, <br />faith and disability communities, child care providers and health care providers. <br />(c) Two liaison members shall be chosen by the Board of County Commissioners. One <br />of these members may be a County Commissioner and the other may be from the County <br />Manager's office. <br />2
