This $1.8 million project refurbishes this school, including interior and exterior painting, <br /> replacing carpet, repairing drop ceilings, replacing light fixtures, renovating laboratories, as <br /> required. The attached application draws down $419,419 of the remaining balance in this fund. <br /> As of February, 1995, the County had $478,234 unallocated. With this application, the remaining <br /> balance in this account would be $58,815. <br /> The application process requires formal requests for funding from both the Board of County <br /> Commissioners and the Board of Education of the school system concerned. The Orange County <br /> Board of Education approved the application at their meeting on May 16, 1995. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners approve the application for $419,419 <br /> in Public School Building Capital Funds for the C.W. Stanford Renovation project authorize the <br /> Chair to sign the application. <br />
