Endorsed the process described in the"Summary of Consensus Proposal" <br /> including: <br /> • Creation of an 8-member Steering Committee, made up of two <br /> elected officials from each of the four governing boards in Orange <br /> County, to oversee the process proposed in the"Shaping Orange <br /> County's Future Report". <br /> • Appointment of a large citizen's Task Force, comprised of <br /> representatives from a variety of perspectives. Names would be <br /> compiled by the Steering Committee and referred to the four <br /> elected boards for appointment. <br /> • Completion of the 15 steps, including reports to the four elected <br /> boards, as outlined in the "Shaping Orange County's Future <br /> Report". A4justments to the process would be made as deemed <br /> necessary by either the Task Force or Steering committee, <br /> depending on work progress. <br /> 2. Endorsed the creation of the Steering Committee and expressed its intent <br /> to appoint two members to serve. <br />
