Amendments to the Orange C"ounty Ordinance Re~ulatin~ Smoking in Buildings Owned by or <br />Leased to Orange C~aunty and Motor Vehicles Chvned by or Leased to Orange t~aunty <br />The Board j~~•ill consider adopting a County ordinance that would regulate smoking in County buildings and <br />motor vehicles owned by or leased to Orange County. <br />o. Fiscal Year 2007-08 Budget Amendment #7 <br />The Board will consider approving budget, capital and grant project ordinance amendments, and updates to <br />the County's current fee schedule for fiscal year 2007-08. <br />5. Northern Buckliorn Coimnwiity/Central Efland Sewer Expansion Proiect Update and Scheduling <br />Public Hearing for Engineer's Report <br />The Board will receive an update on the northern Buckhorn community/central Efland sewer expansion <br />project; the draft or preliminary Engineer's Repo7-t for BOCC review; and a proposal to schedule the EPA- <br />required public hearing for the Engineer's Report. <br />b. Local Revenue Options Referendum Decisions <br />The Board will consider decisions regarding what local revenue option(s) to include in a referendum to be <br />place on the May 6, 2008 ballot. <br />c. Approval of Public Market House Market Manager Responsibilities, Market Vendor Rules, and <br />Daily Fee for Market Vendors, and Creation of Public Market House Intervn Oversight <br />Committee <br />The Board will consider creating the Public Market House Interim Oversight Committee, approve the Public <br />Market House Market Manager responsibilities and market vendor rules and to set a daily fee of $10 for the <br />2008 season for market vendors. <br />d. Resolution in Support of the Orange C"ounty Visitors Bureau Request for 1°lo Occupancy Tax <br />Increase <br />The Board t~~ill consider a resolution based on a request from the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors <br />Bureau Board that the Orange County Board of Conunissioners increase the County's hotel occupancy tax <br />by 1%, from 2% to 3%, as authorized in Senate Bi11622 of the 1991 Session laws. <br />7. Animal Ca-Location at Emergency Human Shelters <br />The Board twill receive an update on initial discussions surrounding the possibility of building the capability <br />to open and manage pet. co-location points at emergency shelters in Orange County and seek feedback and <br />direction from the Board. <br />8.
