This department administers the <br /> County's telephone system and the County's telephone switch is located in the telephone office <br /> building as well. <br /> The lease renewal presented herein will renew the lease through May 31,2000. The lease renewal rate <br /> is$18,375 per year for each of the fire years in the renewal period and represents a three percent(3%) <br /> increase over the 1990 rate. All maintenance and utilities are included in the lease rate. All other terms <br /> and conditions of the original lease remain the same. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the lease renewal with Central <br /> Telephone Company-NC from June 1, 1995 through May 31,2000 at a lease rate of$18,375 per year; <br /> and authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of the Board. <br />
