The <br /> theme chosen by the National Trust for Historic Preservation is "Real People, <br /> Real Places;Real History." A copy of the proclamation is attached. <br /> To publicize Historic Preservation Week, The News of Orange County is <br /> publishing captioned photographs of historic sites from the County's historic <br /> architectural inventory. These will appear in each weekly issue throughout the <br /> month of May Also, the Orange County Historic Preservation Commission has <br /> incorporated the"Real People,Real Places,Reel History"theme into their notices <br /> of community meetings for the Historic Preservation Element of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan, held May 2-4. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proclamation for <br /> National Historic Preservation Week 1995. <br />
