The petitions and responses are listed below: <br />1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Pelissier that staff provide a presentation to the <br />Board on alternatives to on -site septic systems. <br />Response: Vice Chair McKee will consult with Commissioner Pelissier to discuss moving <br />forward to seek further clarity regarding the request. <br />2) Review and consider a follow -up on a request by Commissioner Dorosin regarding a <br />resolution addressing immigrant children's access to education. <br />Response: Manager to ask Housing, Human Rights & Community Development <br />Director to consult with Commissioner Dorosin. <br />3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Gordon that the Board consider a <br />resolution regarding global climate change. <br />Response: Manager to ask DEAPR staff to a draft resolution for Board consideration at <br />November 18, 2014 regular meeting. <br />This letter will be provided as an Information Item on the November 6, 2014 agenda for public <br />information. <br />Best, <br />Barry Jacobs, Chair <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />
