PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PROGRAM <br />Mission /Scope: Public Hearing process consistent with NC State Statutes and <br />Orange County ordinance requirements. Additionally, staff held a Joint Public <br />Information Meeting on January 9, 2014 to explain the process and its implications to <br />the public and property owners in affected areas. Property owners were notified of <br />the Joint Public Information Meeting, as well as the May 8, 2014 BOCC meeting for <br />consideration of the joint resolution amending the Interlocal Agreement, via First <br />Class Mail. <br />a.
